Our team
Raven Yamamoto (they/them) is a reporter, radio host, and audio journalist. They are the co-host of The Addendum, Loyola Marymount’s first weekly news radio show, as well as the producer of their own podcast. They are the founder and editor-in-chief of AGENCY, their university’s first independent news source, as well as a staff writer for Lithium Magazine and Adolescent Content.
Michelle Tea (she/her) has been reading tarot for over 30 years. She is the critically acclaimed author of the popular tarot how-to Modern Tarot and the PEN Award-winning essay collection Against Memoir. She is the founder of Drag Queen Story Hour and has produced thousands of other live events throughout the U.S. and around the world.
Kristine Mar (any pronouns) is a multimedia editor, illustrator, and designer currently based in Brooklyn and Baltimore.
Tony Gannon (he/him) is a Bay Area-based media producer. He comes to Your Magic after years of editing and producing documentary films, branded content, and audio storytelling (podcasts!). Tony strives to create singular works of media with cultural and social impact.
Molly Elizalde (she/her) is a writer and editor based in Brooklyn. She began her career in print as an editorial assistant at Condé Nast Traveler before going on to publish work in The New York Times, Interview magazine, and New York magazine. Before cofounding Your Magic, she was the editorial and creative director of Lenny Letter.
Ben Cooley (he/him) was a co-founder of Lenny Letter. Before that he was a producer of television and film. And before that, an indie rock tour manager. He lives in LA with his two kids, and a cat.
Vera Blossom (she/they) is a writer, editor, and producer based in Las Vegas, NV. They make work about the complex intersections of race, gender, fashion, beauty, magic, and pop culture. She is proudly Pinoy and trans.
Veronica Agard (she/her) is a writer, educator, and connector at the intersections of Black identity, wellness, representation, and culture. Of Afro-Caribbean, African-American and Indigenous descent, she is the curator of the Who Heals the Healer series and conference, the first generation of the Reparations: Wellness Clinic, as well as the Ancestors in Training series.
